Fesztivál Restaurant

One of Szeged’s most popular self-service restaurants in the heart of the city centre is located at 1-4 Dóm Square next door to Somogyi Library.

Among our diverse variety of dishes everyone can find their favourites: delectable soups, hearty main dishes and low prices await our present and potential future customers.
Special offers such as the INTERNATIONAL WEEKS presenting cuisines of different nations putting a selection of specialities in the spotlight, or the SPECIAL WEEKLY OFFER should not be missed out on. Dishes are to have here or take away, and due to our quick and flawless self-service system, you won’t have to queue for ages. Owing to our experienced chefs, a wide variety of dishes from traditional to special flavours can be found on the menu. Upon request, we undertake to prepare special dishes as well.

Our special daily menu offers can be the right choice for those who crave a warm dish for lunch but are pressed for time and don’t have money to burn. Our guests can choose from 4 types of daily menus from Monday to Friday:

1) On weekdays 2 types of Daily Menus “A” and “B” for HUF 620/portion,

2) “Fit” Dishes for HUF 790/portion,

or Mega Menu for HUF 850;

3) Weekend Menu for HUF 790.

4) Kids’ Menu at weekends for HUF 690 / menu.

We accept payment by Ticket Restaurant cold and warm food passes, Sodexho enni-kék, warm food and gift passes, Chéque Déjeuner, Puebla and Holiday Passes.

Maestro, Visa and Visa Electron bankcards are accepted.

Fesztivál Club Card

This service enables card holders to load their Holiday Passes onto their Fesztivál Club Cards. From March 2010 cash upload is also available thus you can forget about bothering with denominations and expiry dates. We only withdraw the total price of your meal (no additional fee is charged), and there is no time limit as to using up the amount on your card. Fesztivál Club Card holders will receive a 10% discount upon each card use.

Fesztivál Student’s Card

is available for full-time students holding a valid student’s card. Parents can load Holiday Passes and cash onto the card. Upon paying by Fesztivál Student’s Card you automatically receive a 10% discount.

Fesztivál Healthcare Card

guarantees healthcare workers a 10% discount from the total price of their meal.

We undertake to organize special events in our restaurant.

Our self-service restaurant can accommodate 142 persons at a time with 62 seats within the dining area and 40-40 seats in two other rooms. Our terrace overlooking Dóm Square is also available from spring to autumn.
